2009 EAM CONSULTATION - SAVE THE DATES (June 18-22 in Tampa, Florida)

The 36^th Annual EAM Consultation will be held on June 18-22, 2009 at Dayspring Episcopal Conference Center, Parrish, Florida, hosted by the Episcopal Diocese of Southwest Florida, with the theme: “Go in peace to love and serve the Lord: Evangelism and Mission in the Age of Globalization, Part 2.” Canon Soh Chye Ann will be the keynote speaker and his presentation will focus on “How to transform parishes into evangelistic and missionary centers, with lessons from the church in Antioch from the Book of Acts.” 

The suggested workshops include: “The Issue of Human Trafficking: Who are my sisters/brothers’ keepers?”; “Parish Transformation: When your neighborhood changed and your church hasn’t”; “Financial and Environmental Stewardship”; and “Use of Technology and Multi-media in Worship and Ministry.”

DaySpring Episcopal Conference Center is not a hotel so there are plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.  The nearest airport is Tampa International Airport.  Participants can extend their stay for vacation cruises or visit to Disneyworld, Epcot center and other exciting places in Florida.
